Job Overview

Experienced HGV Class 1 Car Transporter drivers needed for a long‑term temp-to-perm role with a well‑established client based in Wellingborough. The position involves inspection, collection and nationwide delivery of vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Inspect vehicles before transport.
• Collect and deliver vehicles across the UK.
• Operate Scania & Volvo Car transporters equipped with Transport Engineering, ROLFO, Odyssey and Lohr equipment.
• Maintain a consistent 4‑night-out schedule on a Monday‑Friday basis.
• Ensure own truck is fully inspected and maintained.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 1 licence with car transporter experience.
• Minimum of 11 car transporter drives in the last 3 years using Transport Engineering, ROLFO, Odyssey or Lohr equipment.
• LTD & PAYE drivers may apply (IR35 exempt).

Remuneration

£57,000 – £60,000 per year.
