Private Client Tax Senior – Farms & Estates – Cheltenham

Our client, a leading accountancy firm based in Cheltenham, is seeking a Private Client Tax Senior to join their Farms & Estates Tax Team. This is a varied and rewarding role, offering the opportunity to support high‑profile clients in the rural and agricultural sector with complex tax planning and strategic guidance.

Responsibilities

  • Managing a portfolio of clients including farm owners, landed estates, rural businesses, partnerships, sole traders, and related companies or trusts
  • Delivering tax projects with technical accuracy and a commercial approach
  • Supporting managers, directors, and partners on advisory projects and implementing complex tax planning arrangements
  • Reviewing income and corporation tax computations and liaising with specialists on technical matters
  • Understanding and communicating technical issues clearly and practically

Requirements

  • ACA/ACCA and/or ATT qualified (CTA desirable)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Commercially aware and client‑focused
  • Team player with a flexible and enthusiastic approach
  • Keen interest in developing advisory skills and working on complex planning projects
