Software Engineer | Cutting-Edge Startup | Security Technology | Rust | Hybrid (UK)
Why Join?
This is an opportunity to join a company building technology at the edge of modern security and intelligent systems.
They’ve already achieved something most startups spend years chasing: strong product-market fit, significant funding behind them, and a product customers actively want.
Now they’re scaling engineering to build the next generation of the platform.
The work sits across autonomous systems, sensors, robotics, and real-world decision‑making infrastructure — combining deep technical engineering with products deployed in environments where reliability, performance and quality matter.
This is not incremental feature work.
You’ll be helping build systems that interact with the physical world.
The Role
They’re looking for Software Engineers to join a growing engineering team working across the core platform and product stack.
You’ll work on:
- designing and building high‑performance software systems
- developing backend and distributed infrastructure
- integrating data from sensors and autonomous platforms
- building software that supports robotic and intelligent systems
- improving reliability, scalability and performance across the platform
- taking products from concept through production deployment
The environment rewards engineers who enjoy ownership and want to work close to both product and technical decisions.
Technology
The engineering organisation builds primarily in Rust.
Prior Rust experience is valuable, but they’re ultimately looking for strong software engineers with excellent fundamentals and an interest in building highly reliable systems.
You’ll likely enjoy this role if you’ve worked with:
- Rust
- C++
- Go
- Python
- systems/backend engineering environments
What They’re Looking For
- Strong software engineering experience building production systems
- Interest in distributed systems, infrastructure, robotics or intelligent platforms
- Comfortable operating in a fast‑moving startup environment
- Strong problem‑solving and systems thinking
Due to the nature of the work:
- you must have full right to work in the UK
- you must have been resident in the UK for the last 5 years
Why People Join
- Cutting‑edge work in security and autonomous technology
- Well‑capitalised business with significant funding already raised
- Proven product‑market fit and real customer adoption
- Opportunity to solve genuinely difficult engineering problems
- Strong technical team with ambitious growth plans
If you want to work on software that moves beyond screens and into the real world — this is the kind of opportunity that doesn’t come around often.
