Are you someone who enjoys being out on the road, building relationships, ensuring standards are maintained, and making a real impact across a network of operational sites?
We’re looking for a Depot Compliance Manager to join a well-established international organisation, taking responsibility for auditing, supporting and improving operational performance across a network of depots throughout the South of the UK and Ireland.
Whilst the ideal candidate will be based around the Newport area, applications are welcomed from candidates located elsewhere who are happy to travel extensively throughout the region.
The Role
This is a highly autonomous role where you’ll be responsible for ensuring operational, quality, environmental and health & safety standards are maintained across multiple depot locations.
You’ll act as the key link between depot operators, customers and internal stakeholders, helping to identify issues, implement improvements and maintain compliance across the network.
Key responsibilities include:
Conducting regular depot audits and inspections
Monitoring operational KPIs, stock accuracy and productivity levels
Investigating customer complaints and implementing corrective actions
Supporting depots with compliance, quality and environmental standards
Carrying out inventory checks and stock audits
Building strong relationships with depot operators and customer sites
Delivering training and guidance to operational teams
Producing detailed audit reports and action plans
Supporting the onboarding and development of new depot locations
Driving continuous improvement initiatives across the network
About You
We’re keen to speak with candidates who have experience within logistics, supply chain, warehousing, manufacturing, transport or operational compliance environments.
You will ideally have:
Experience conducting audits, inspections or compliance reviews
Strong operational understanding of warehouse, logistics or manufacturing environments
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
The confidence to challenge, influence and drive improvements
Strong organisational and reporting skills
A proactive, solutions-focused approach
A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regularly
