St Helens Borough Council is seeking a motivated Regulatory Services Compliance Officer (Noise Control) to join our Environmental Protection team.

You will work across a wide range of cases, including commercial, industrial and, where required, domestic premises, as well as providing expert technical advice on planning applications, licensing matters and major events.
As the Council’s specialist officer for noise control, you will use acoustic monitoring equipment and software to assess noise and vibration levels, provide professional advice to colleagues and stakeholders, contribute to enforcement action, and represent the Council at committees, hearings and court proceedings as necessary.
