Responsibilities
- Ensure all Tesco sites are safe and functioning for customers and colleagues.
- Follow the planned work schedule to achieve first‑time fix, improving efficiency and effectiveness.
- Work closely with team members, sharing best practice and knowledge.
- Perform general day‑to‑day store and property maintenance.
- Use mobile devices (phone and tablet) to approach work completion and updates.
- Represent the Tesco brand by demonstrating core values (serving customers, communities and the planet), maintaining a positive attitude and taking pride in wearing the Tesco uniform.
- Attend local and national meetings, providing valuable input and feedback.
- Support a diverse and inclusive culture.
- Interact confidently with external contractors, coordinating repairs seamlessly.
- Collaborate with the team, maintaining high energy levels and service quality.
- Assist the management team by keeping the stores operating smoothly through equipment and facilities maintenance.
- Minimise customer disruption by coordinating repairs with minimal impact on customers.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Previous experience in maintenance, engineering, or construction.
- Digital confidence using a tablet to view daily work schedules and manage emails.
- ONC certification or equivalent.
- Full driving licence.
- Health & safety awareness.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Office365 knowledge.
- Completion of all relevant technical training and upskilling modules.
