Salary / Pay Rate
£14.25 per hour (Paid weekly via PAYE)
Job Summary
We are looking for a reliable Teaching Assistant to work under the guidance of class teachers to support pupils’ learning in Key Stage 1 (KS1) or Key Stage 2 (KS2) classrooms. You will play a vital role in keeping students engaged, managing small group interventions, and fostering a positive workspace.
Key Responsibilities
- Delivering targeted literacy and numeracy support to small groups of students.
- Assisting the teacher with classroom preparation, marking support, and resource management.
- Promoting positive behaviour and keeping students focused on their daily tasks.
- Helping create an inclusive classroom atmosphere where every child feels confident.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Minimum Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or substantial experience in a similar educational role).
- Solid understanding of the primary school curriculum and basic classroom dynamics.
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude.
