Overview
We have a fantastic opportunity to join our passionate and experienced team as a Children’s Residential Support Worker and ensure our young people are supported daily, teaching vital life skills and creating memories that will last a lifetime.
Our warm and welcoming therapeutic homes are based in Greater Manchester and registered to support up to 2 young people aged 7-18 with emotional behavioural difficulties and Autism. Our young people have the perfect home environment to thrive and grow as they progress into adulthood here we create lasting memories filled with fun and laughter.
We follow a therapeutic approach within our homes, and our young people and staff have access to our in‑house therapist as part of our PACE model which we implement in all our services.
Responsibilities
Provide daily support to young people, teaching vital life skills, creating memories, and supporting them through a therapeutic approach.
Maintain accurate paperwork and work with the in‑house therapist as part of the PACE model.
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum of 6 months working within UK based children’s residential care.
- Experience in an Ofsted registered home setting.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Excellent communication skills.
Shift Details
Shifts would be a long day/sleep starting at 10am and finishing at 10am.
Starting salary for the position is £13-14 per hour plus a sleep bonus of £75 per completed sleep.
