Location: Northampton

Salary: £33,000 – £38,000 DOE + Bonus Scheme

Holt Recruitment is working on behalf of a well‑established hire business looking to add an experienced Small Tools & Plant Fitter to their workshop team in Northampton. We are looking for an engineer for a Monday to Friday role with excellent earning potential, ongoing training and career development.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain and repair small plant, power tools and hire equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, petrol and diesel faults.
• Carry out workshop repairs with occasional site visits when required.
• Complete service records and job documentation.
• Ensure equipment is maintained to a high standard.

Qualifications

• Previous experience within Plant Hire, Tool Hire, Construction Equipment or similar.
• Good mechanical and diagnostic skills.
• Positive attitude and team‑focused approach.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
