About the Role
We’re looking for kind, dependable and caring Care Assistants to join our friendly and growing team. You’ll be supporting individuals in their own homes, helping them live independently, safely and with dignity. No previous care experience is required – full training is provided, though previous experience is welcome.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Supporting personal care such as bathing, dressing and grooming
- Providing companionship and emotional support
- Helping with everyday tasks including meal preparation, medication reminders and light housekeeping
- Assisting with mobility and transfers, ensuring comfort and safety at all times
- Communicating clearly with clients, families and healthcare professionals
- Keeping accurate care records and reporting any concerns
- Following all health, safety and confidentiality guidelines
Requirements
- Right to work in the UK
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
- Willingness to undertake an enhanced DBS check
- Compassionate and caring nature
- Good communication skills
- Reliable and punctual
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A flexible approach to working hours
Pay & Benefits
- £12.21 – £14.00 per hour (depending on experience, qualifications and shift pattern)
- Paid travel time at your hourly rate
- Mileage paid at £0.30 per mile
