The Day Group Living Key Worker is responsible for:
- Safeguarding young people and providing out-of-hours support to other Roundabout services.
- Delivering person‑centred and Trauma‑informed key work sessions.
- Multi‑agency working, attending statutory meetings and advocacy.
- Supporting independence and developmental outcomes.
- Following Social Care safety plans and agreed risk‑management strategies.
- Ensuring clear handovers and communication between shifts.
- Working collaboratively within the team and independently when lone working.
- Participating in staff meetings and supervision.
- Maintaining inspection‑ready records at all times.
The post reports operationally to the Service Manager and works under the leadership and regulatory accountability of the Ofsted Registered Manager.
This role operates within the Supported Accommodation (England) Regulations and Quality Standards 2023, statutory safeguarding guidance, and local authority placement requirements for Looked After Children and Care Leavers.
