Sales Assistant – Chesterfield

Overview

Smyths Toys is one of the world’s largest specialty retailers of children’s toys, operating both online and through physical stores across Europe and the UK.

About the Role

We are looking for Sales Assistants for Smyths Toys Superstores. This is a temporary contract with a rate of pay £12.90 per hour for employees over 21 and £11.00 per hour for employees under 21.

Responsibilities

• Provide a high level of customer service
• Ascertain customers’ needs and wants
• Work as part of a fast paced and dynamic team
• Keep the store clean and tidy
• Pack shelves and merchandise
• Work delivery and complete price changes
• Work on the tills
• Learn about and keep up to date with our products in order to help customers

Ideal Candidate

Retail experience in the following areas is highly desirable, but not essential:

• Outdoor/Bikes
• Nursery (Available Monday and Weekends minimum)
• General Shopfloor/Replenishment
• Till usage

Our stores are open 7 days a week, so we need our Sales Assistants to be as flexible as possible.
