Salary: £20 an hour – Permanent (temp to perm)

Immediate start available

Shift and Schedule

• Day shift: 8am to 4:30pm Monday to Thursday
• Friday: 7am to 2:30pm

About the Role

My client is a leading manufacturer within their industry based in Burton Latemar within commutable distance from Rushden, Northampton, and the surrounding areas. They are currently looking for a skilled TIG Welder / Fabricator to join their team.

Responsibilities

• TIG Welding on stainless steel, mild steel, aluminium and brass
• Work independently and as part of a team
• Fabricate and assemble metal parts according to engineering specifications
• Use hand tools and mechanical knowledge to cut, shape, and bend metal
• Operate sheet metal equipment and tooling to produce desired components
• Conduct quality inspection of finished products

Qualifications

• Experience of TIG welding and fabrication
• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Able to quality check own parts
• Motivated and excellent team player

Package

• Pay rate up to £20.00 per hour
• Overtime available
