The Best Connection are recruiting on behalf of a prestigious and well-established client

We are currently seeking an experienced MIG Welder / Fabricator to join a busy and expanding manufacturing team in West Bromwich.

Morning Shift:Monday – Thursday: 06:00 – 14:00Friday: 06:00 – 13:00

Afternoon Shift:Monday – Thursday: 14:00 – 22:00Friday: 13:00 – 20:00

Welding the company’s range using MIG welders
Set up welding and supporting equipment
Be able to read 2D drawings
Produce parts at the correct rate and report any issues with achieving that rate
Take responsibility for the quality of the parts produced
Keep production and quality related records up to date
Ensure good levels of 5S are maintained in the area
Be involved in continuous improvement processes driving through improvements in all aspects of the role
Ensure Health & Safety procedures are followed
Performs Other Duties as Assigned

Proven experience in MIG welding and fabrication
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
Strong attention to detail and commitment to qualityAble to work independently and collaboratively within a team
Positive, reliable, and proactive attitude
Motivated to meet targets safely and efficiently
Committed to upholding company values
