About the role
We are recruiting a skilled and dedicated Security Concierge to join our team at Hale Country Club & Spa. The role involves ensuring a safe and secure environment while delivering exceptional service that enhances our guests’ experience.
Location: Hale Country Club & Spa, Clay Lane, Timperley, Altrincham WA15 7AF
Hours: 4 on x 4 off shift pattern, 42 hours per week on average
Hale Country Club & Spa offers an exclusive environment dedicated to enhancing well‑being and lifestyle. The club features a state‑of‑the‑art gym, luxurious spa facilities and a range of wellness services designed to help members achieve their fitness and relaxation goals. From high‑tech cardio and functional training areas to serene recovery zones and exceptional dining options the club provides a holistic approach to health and wellness.
Responsibilities
- Be the first point of contact for guests, creating a positive first impression
- Ensure only authorised individuals access the premises and maintain a secure environment
- Monitor surveillance and patrol to maintain safety
- Assist guests with questions, directions and support
- Respond calmly to emergencies and follow procedures
- Work with Front Desk and Reception to ensure a seamless experience for guests
- Communicate effectively with other departments to address security concerns and maintain a safe environment
- Handle guest issues professionally and resolve conflicts
- Stay alert and report suspicious activities
- Maintain a neat and professional appearance
- Report incidents promptly to supervisors and ensure accurate and detailed documentation of all security‑related matters
- Participate in training sessions to enhance security knowledge and customer service skills
- Stay updated with industry best practices and contribute ideas for improving security measures and guest experiences
Requirements
- Possession of a valid Door Supervision SIA licence
- Valid First Aid at Work certificate
- Previous experience working in a similar role, within a hotel or similar environment
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of business, internal and external
- Problem‑solving abilities
- Excellent customer service skills
- Flexibility and the ability to respond appropriately to changing situations
- Discretion and sensitivity
- The ability to maintain professional standards under pressure
