Production Operative – Electronics/Industrial Cleaning – Eastbourne

Hours

• 37 hours per week
• Monday to Thursday: 08:00–16:45
• Friday: 07:00–12:00

The role of Production Operative:

• Packing complete products in line with specifications
• Cleaning components and work areas to strict industrial standards (small products and components, not general domestic cleaning)
• Potting of PCA (Printed Circuit Assemblies) using preset programs on industrial equipment
• Following Bill of Materials (BOMs) to ensure correct components, leaflets, and packaging
• Working to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and D&T specifications (full training provided)
• Maintaining quality standards where any deviation could impact manufacturing outcomes

The ideal Production Operative:

• Ability to read and follow BOMs, SOPs, and technical instructions (desired but not essential — training provided)
• Strong attention to detail and a process-driven mindset
• Reliable, consistent, and quality-focused
• Previous manufacturing experience beneficial but not essential
• Able to stand for extended periods and complete repetitive tasks with precision
