Primary Teacher KS1

Salary: £186 – £249 per day

Join us as a Primary Teacher KS1 in a Primary School. We are seeking an enthusiastic Key Stage 1 Teacher who will help young learners develop their academic and personal skills in a supportive and creative environment. The role involves delivering a broad and engaging curriculum while fostering early critical thinking, problem‑solving, and a love of learning. Collaboration with colleagues and the wider school community is essential to ensure every child thrives both academically and socially.

Responsibilities

  • The ideal Primary Teacher KS1 for this position will be someone who is enthusiastic, passionate, and willing to get involved in the community of this school.
  • The expectations for this role is a Primary Teacher KS1 who is confident in the key competencies of their subject area and has a broad knowledge base and understanding of the curriculum requirements to guide student learning.
  • It is important to this school that the Primary Teacher KS1 they hire is able to analyse assessment data and use it to inform lesson planning and structure.
  • The Primary Teacher KS1 appointed to this position will need to establish and maintain the standards of pupil behaviour required to create an orderly and productive environment.

Qualifications / Experience

  • You must have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, as well as a PGCE or equivalent Teaching qualification, to be eligible for this role.
  • Additionally, you will need to have, or be eligible for, British QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent to be considered for this job.
  • To be eligible for this position you will also need proven classroom experience or training.
