Job Title: Electrical Fitter (Avionics/ Heater)

Location: Stansted, Essex

Salary: up to £32,000 per annum dependent upon experience

This role is working a 39 hour week. Hours of work are Monday- Thursday: 8am- 4.30pm and Friday: 8am- 4pm. A 9 day fortnight is available to those who want it.

Main Responsibilities

  • Perform workshop activities for Avionics or Heater departments to support customer demands.
  • Test, inspect, repair, and overhaul components
  • Update and interact with scheduling boards, giving feedback on daily issues or concerns.
  • Maintain and ensure implementation of all standard operating practices and procedures
  • Ensure strict compliance and implementation of all safety standards
  • Meet health, safety and environmental regulations

About You

  • Prior experience in an engineering/workshop environment is
  • Some workshop or engineering experience .
  • Aerospace or electrical experience is a bonus, not essential.
  • Good attention to detail and focus on safety.
  • Able to work well in a team and follow instructions.
