The role
In this role, you will support residents with their daily routines, promoting independence, dignity, choice and wellbeing. Working as part of a caring and supportive team, you will provide person‑centred care and help create positive experiences for residents every day.
Key Responsibilities
- Getting to know residents as individuals and supporting them in a way that reflects their personal needs, choices and routines.
- Helping residents with day‑to‑day activities while encouraging independence, dignity and wellbeing.
- Building warm, positive relationships with residents, families, colleagues and visiting professionals.
- Noticing the small things that matter and sharing any changes or concerns with the team so residents receive the right support.
- Keeping clear care records and communicating well with colleagues to help provide consistent, high‑quality care.
- Working safely and thoughtfully, following guidance around safeguarding, infection prevention, confidentiality and wellbeing.
- Being part of a friendly team and helping to create a home where residents feel comfortable, respected and cared for.
About You
You will be caring, reliable and committed to making a positive difference to residents’ lives. You will bring a kind and respectful approach, good communication skills and a willingness to learn. Previous experience in care is welcome, but what matters most is your passion for supporting people and working well as part of a team.
