Complex Care Worker

We are currently looking for a Complex Care Worker to join our dedicated team in the Moortown area of Leeds.

The client you will be working with is a young female that is very active and enjoys going out for meals, the gym and shopping.

As a carer you will be supporting the client to live their everyday life by advocating for them, and supporting her with everyday tasks.

The successful applicant must be providing clinical support with Tracheostomy care, skin care, mental health support, and personal care domestic tasks. Training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Non-Smoker – Secondary smoke has a negative effect on the client’s health.
• English of a high standard in both spoken and written language as you will be advocating for the client at appointments, over the phone and in meetings.
• Confident driver with a clean UK licence that can drive on motorways and new cities (client must be supported to appointments in different cities regularly in their own vehicle). Must be able to drive manual and automatic cars.
• Flexibility with working hours. The successful applicant must be able to work days, nights and be able to travel for overnight stays for appointments. (2/3 days nights at a time).
• Must be able to cook and follow recipes and instructions to a high standard.
• Must have strong IT skills to support client with emailing, social media and use of the internet.
• Must work part of a team and be able to follow instructions.
• Using your initiative with domestic tasks.
• Good time management.
• Have an enthusiastic and positive attitude. Punctuality is important along with a good sense of humour.
• Have the Right to Work in the UK.
