Location: Wishaw ML2

Salary: £41,608-£43,441 per annum (dpe)

Shifts: Monday‑Friday, 08:00‑16:30

About the Role

We are recruiting for an experienced Electrician or Maintenance Engineer to join a leading building maintenance provider at a large site in Wishaw ML2. You’ll be part of a skilled engineering team, delivering planned and reactive maintenance across electrical systems within a modern commercial environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out PPM and reactive maintenance on electrical systems and building services equipment.
• Respond promptly to breakdowns, ensuring minimal downtime.
• Fault‑finding and remedial repairs on lighting, power distribution, emergency lighting, and control systems.
• Work alongside mechanical and building services teams as part of a multi‑skilled maintenance operation.
• Ensure compliance with health & safety procedures and site documentation.

Requirements

• Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Installations / Engineering (or equivalent).
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification.
• Proven experience in a commercial building maintenance environment.
• Excellent fault‑finding skills and the ability to work independently.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
