Support Worker

We are currently recruiting experienced Support Workers to provide ad hoc and emergency shift cover within a specialist 15‑bedroom service supporting children and adults with complex physical and learning disabilities.

The service delivers person‑centred support tailored to each individual’s needs through comprehensive care plans. While current requirements are primarily for ad hoc and emergency cover, additional hours are expected to become available during school holidays and summer breaks.

Essential Experience & Skills

• Autism support experience
• Epilepsy support experience
• Up‑to‑date Mandatory Training
• Experience working within CQC‑regulated environments

Compliance Requirements

• Proof of Identity
• Enhanced DBS Certificate with Update Service
• Two written references (including most recent employer)
• Full employment history with explanations for any gaps
• Overseas Criminal Record Certificate (or risk assessment where unavailable)

Important Information

• Candidates accepted for this service must complete a 4‑hour unpaid induction before commencing shifts.
• Immediate opportunities available for suitable candidates.
• More regular hours are expected during term holidays and summer periods.
• We do not provide sponsorship or visa support.
