Assistant Manager – Corporate Finance – Special Situations M&A

Full‑time, on‑site position within the Special Situations M&A team.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead discrete parts and support the team across the breadth of corporate finance engagement activities.
- Project manage all aspects of a transaction.
- Assist in the preparation of pitch materials and proposals for new business opportunities.
- Support the preparation of marketing materials (information memorandum), coordinate NDAs, buyer Q&A, management presentations and general process management for live mandates.
- Prepare or review key transactional documents (e.g., business plans, Heads of Terms, financial models, funds flow, completion mechanics).
- Conduct buyer or target research and participate in approaching parties.
- Research, benchmark, and analyze to support the valuation of companies, assets, and investments for various purposes.
- Research and summarise rationale for buyers for disposal mandates and targets for buyside mandates.
- Support the team in client take‑on and compliance matters.
- Support team members on deals while seeking development guidance from senior members.
- Manage your own workload and that of more junior members, keeping senior team members informed of progress.
- Take an active role in business development activities and networking alongside other team members.
Qualifications
- Experience in Special Situations M&A, either in a dedicated team or Restructuring team.
- ACA/ACCA qualified with several years of experience.
- Degree level educated or equivalent school leaver program.
