Permanent Teacher of Geography
A secondary school in Reading is seeking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Teacher of Geography to join their team on a permanent basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate teacher to deliver high-quality Geography across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 within a supportive and well-resourced department. The school welcomes applications from both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs), and candidates who can offer a second subject for additional teaching or cover are highly desirable.
Role
- Teaching Geography across KS3 and KS4
- Planning and delivering engaging, high-quality lessons
- Monitoring and supporting student progress
- Contributing to the wider life of the school
Ideal Candidate
- QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
- Experience teaching Geography at secondary level (A-Level desirable)
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Geography
- A commitment to raising achievement and maintaining high standards
