Health and Safety Manager (Great Training)
Salary: £40,000 – £60,000 plus progression, great training, autonomy, 25 days holiday, and pension.
Commutable from Yate, Bristol, Thornbury, Chippenham, Bath, Portishead, Swindon, and surrounding areas.
We are looking for a NEBOSH qualified (or equivalent) professional to progress into a Health and Safety Manager role. The person will take the lead on creating real change and improvements with a high level of autonomy.
Our company is a specialist building contractor offering facilities maintenance, roofing, refurbishment, and more to commercial and industrial clients. Due to accelerated growth, we have a brand-new role to own the HSE function.
Role
The role will be split between 70% office based and 30% site based. Responsibilities include developing health and safety and quality processes, site auditing, resolving health and safety issues, ensuring compliance with UK HSE legislation, and embedding a strong safety culture.
- Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week.
- Progress into a Health and Safety Manager position.
- Take ownership of the health and safety function.
- Manage risk, ensure compliance, and drive continuous improvement in HSE performance.
- Conduct site audits.
Qualifications & Experience
- NEBOSH qualified or equivalent.
- Health and safety experience.
- Full UK driver’s licence.
