Job Summary
We are pleased to offer an exciting opportunity for the position of Specialist Nurse/Non‑Medical Prescriber within the Northern Region Gender Dysphoria Service (NRGDS) at Cumbria, Northumberland, Tyne and Wear NHS Foundation Trust. This role supports people over the course of their gender dysphoria pathway, providing assessment, medication reviews and ongoing support.
Main Duties of the Job
- Assess individuals with gender dysphoria.
- Offer medication reviews and prescribe as a qualified Non‑Medical Prescriber.
- Provide ongoing support throughout the gender dysphoria pathway.
- Work within a multidisciplinary team, contributing to the development of services.
- Engage with patients in a flexible and empathetic manner, advocating for their rights and well‑being.
