Overview
As a Commercial Manager, you will act as a true brand ambassador, owning and driving category growth across Wholesale, Convenience, E-commerce and Health sectors. You will play a key role in strengthening supplier and customer relationships, delivering profitable growth and ensuring commercial excellence throughout the product lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Owning and developing category growth across multiple channels.
- Driving cash‑flow improvement through management of supplier aged and disputed debt.
- Recovering costs associated with residuals, overstocks and out‑of‑date stock.
- Delivering a tailored category management approach to customers, aligned to their individual needs.
- Communicating and negotiating effectively at all levels, internally and externally.
- Acting as a clear communication link between sales teams, customers and suppliers.
- Representing DCS at internal meetings, external events and industry seminars.
- Owning the end‑to‑end product recall process, ensuring full compliance at every stage.
Qualifications
- Effective communicator with outstanding written, verbal and presentation skills.
- Confident and credible when negotiating with internal and external stakeholders.
- Highly motivated, proactive and commercially focused, with a positive “can-do” attitude.
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment, able to prioritise effectively and make sound commercial decisions under pressure.
- Collaborative team player who enjoys working closely with others to achieve shared goals.
