THE ROLE

As a Paint Sprayer / Paint Technician, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality paint repairs and refinishing work, ensuring vehicles are restored to manufacturer and customer expectations.

Key responsibilities

  • Preparing vehicles and panels for the paint process
  • Mixing and colour matching paints accurately
  • Applying primer, basecoat and clearcoat finishes
  • Carrying out paint refinishing work to a high standard
  • Inspecting completed work and rectifying any paint defects
  • Maintaining quality control throughout the repair process
  • Ensuring work is completed within agreed timescales
  • Working closely with panel technicians and workshop colleagues to maximise efficiency

ABOUT YOU

The ideal candidate will have previous experience within a Bodyshop or accident repair environment and take pride in delivering exceptional paint finishes.

  • Previous experience as a Paint Sprayer, Paint Technician or Paint Refinisher
  • Recognised qualification in Vehicle Refinishing (NVQ / IMI / City & Guilds / ATA or equivalent), with a commitment to continuous professional development
  • Experience working within a Bodyshop or accident repair centre
  • Strong knowledge of paint application and colour matching techniques
  • Ability to work efficiently while maintaining exceptional quality standards
  • Excellent attention to detail and finishing skills
  • Strong organisational and time management abilities
