About the Opportunity

Solomon & Co., Advocates & Solicitors, is currently inviting applications to expand its teams in Litigation & Arbitration and Real Estate. This is a unique opportunity for young legal professionals to gain robust practical experience with one of India’s most respected legacy firms. The firm is hiring for two Associate positions (one for each team) with 0–2 years of post‑qualification experience.

Qualifications

Litigation & Arbitration Team

• Upto 2 years of relevant experience in civil and commercial litigation and arbitration matters.
• Exposure to proceedings before courts and tribunals, including NCLT in or around Mumbai.
• Must be enrolled with the Bar Council of Maharashtra & Goa.
• Should possess strong drafting skills and be capable of handling court filings and proceedings.

Real Estate Team

• Upto 2 years of experience in conducting title due diligence across different states in India.
• Proficiency in Marathi and an understanding of local land laws and revenue records (e.g., 7/12 extracts, property cards).
• Hands‑on experience in drafting and reviewing sale, lease, and license agreements.
• Solid knowledge of RERA, DCR, town planning regulations, and local development control rules.

The positions are based in Mumbai, ideal for candidates who are either already in the city or willing to relocate.
