Class 1 HGV Driver

Driver Hire Lincoln is recruiting experienced and reliable HGV Class 1 Drivers to support general haulage operations across the UK.

Position: HGV Class 1 Driver

Location: Gainsborough

Recruiting Office: Driver Hire Lincoln

Employment Type: Temporary (ongoing and ad hoc work available)

Start Time: 06:00 daily

Pay & Benefits

• £15.75 per hour for the first 8 hours
• £23.00 per hour for any hours worked over 8 per shift
• Weekly PAYE pay every Friday

The Role

• Safely transport goods to a variety of destinations across the UK.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and complete all required paperwork.
• Maintain clear communication with the transport office and customers.
• Follow all company procedures and road safety regulations at all times.

Candidate Requirements

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence.
• Valid Driver CPC qualification and digital tachograph card.
• Previous general haulage experience is preferred.
• Strong awareness of health and safety procedures.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work independently.
• Flexible and adaptable approach to changing workloads and schedules.
