Head of Design

• A leading offsite MEP and low-carbon building-services specialist is hiring a Head of Design to build and lead its Birmingham design function.
• This is a senior technical leadership role covering commercial estate decarbonisation, heat pumps, district heating, energy centres, modular plantrooms and prefabricated MEP solutions.
• The role suits an Associate Director, Technical Director, Design Manager or Head of Design from a building services consultancy or design-led MEP contractor who can combine technical authority with team leadership.
• You will lead multidisciplinary MEP design strategy from Stage 2 onward, set design governance, mentor engineers, work with clients and internal delivery teams, and ensure designs are compliant, buildable and commercially robust.
