Hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week

We are looking for an Operations Manager to manage the operational delivery of Estate Management tasks, plan, direct and control activities, and manage Supply Chain to meet performance indicators.

What You Will Do

As Operations Manager you will manage the operational delivery of Estate Management tasks and plan, direct and control activities.

Daily Tasks (Examples)

  • Oversee the effective, compliant and timely delivery of maintenance and response works in accordance with statutory legislation and MoD Mandatory requirements, complying with all Health and Safety and Environmental standards and policies.
  • Review Risk Assessments and Method Statements to ensure an acceptable standard and, where required, act as Method Statement Coordinator to ensure a consistent approach at site.
  • Support end users in the development of new work requirements, including the provision of formal Additional Works project submissions.
  • Coordinate the day‑to‑day activities of the site team, monitor the safe working of skilled persons, and ensure all operatives follow the requirements for JSP 375.

What You Will Bring

  • Experience managing and supervising staff in Construction, Property maintenance or a related field.
  • HNC or equivalent, level qualification in Building/Civil Engineering or Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • Management level qualification in Health & Safety and Environment such as SMSTS.
