Job Title: Junior Business Development Manager

Role Purpose
Join Infinigate Cloud as a Junior Business Development Manager and take the first step in building a successful career in partner sales within a collaborative, growth-focused environment. As part of a team that values innovation, accountability and continuous development, you’ll support the Cloud Partner Team in delivering individual and team targets while building the skills, product expertise and commercial awareness needed to progress into a full Business Development Manager role. From recruiting and onboarding new partners to qualifying inbound leads and providing day-to-day commercial support, you’ll play a key role in driving partner success, gaining increasing ownership and responsibility as you develop, all within a culture that encourages learning, rewards initiative and celebrates shared success.
We are pleased to offer this permanent position based in either our Woking or Fareham offices on a hybrid basis with 3 days in office and 2 working from home.
Duties & Responsibilities
Partner Recruitment & Lead Qualification
- Execute partner recruitment campaigns, using a mix of purchased, existing prospect and self-generated data, to meet and exceed defined partner recruitment KPIs and targets.
- Follow up all inbound enquiries and leads in a timely fashion; qualify data captured; complete lead qualification from website submissions and inbound enquiries via email and telephone, ensuring accurate information is captured and recorded in the appropriate systems.
- Support the onboarding of new partners to Infinigate Cloud, determining the potential and partner classification of each account and actioning accordingly.
Partner Support
- Inbound Enquiries – support the timely answering of escalated enquiries from Infinigate Cloud partners and team members, responding directly where able or working with other teams or team members (for example, consultants and Account Managers) as required.
- Events & Sales Promotions – attend Infinigate Cloud events and participate in sales promotions with partners where suitable.
- Infinigate Cloud Knowledge – develop and maintain up-to-date knowledge of the Infinigate Cloud value proposition and services portfolio, using this knowledge in the recruitment and ongoing management of resellers.
- Partner Satisfaction – contribute to achieving individual, departmental and company KPIs in partner satisfaction.
As the role develops, and with support from the wider team, the Business Development Manager will take on a growing share of the following business development activities:
- Work with the wider Infinigate Cloud Team and vendor teams to help drive and increase the overall profit and revenue of our business with Infinigate Cloud’s GB partners.
- Help increase the frequency and value of orders, supporting upsell and cross-sell with partners.
- Contribute to building scalable cloud business plans with partners, using predominantly Microsoft and Infinigate Cloud templates.
- Provide reporting on partner activities and progress.
- Support partners through offer development, using pre-packaged offer / pricing guidance and planning templates, and leveraging Microsoft support and digital marketing materials.
- Learn to manage vendor and supplier commercial programmes and campaigns to drive revenue and profit, working with the Marketing and Product teams.
- Promote Infinigate Cloud and its range of services through attendance at Infinigate Cloud events, industry exhibitions and vendor conferences.
General Skills
- Some B2B sales, telesales, customer service or other customer-facing experience.
- An interest in cloud services and technology, including Microsoft’s cloud offerings.
- Excellent verbal, written and numerical skills, with the ability to communicate clearly at all levels.
- A high level of computer literacy combined with strong Microsoft Office suite skills, and the ability to accurately record data in computerised systems.
- Excellent organisational skills, working well both in a team environment and individually.
- Proven ability to meet goals and deadlines.
- A proactive, eager-to-learn attitude, with the ambition to develop into a full Business Development Manager.
- A valid driving licence, access to a vehicle, and business use insurance, which covers travel to other offices, vendors and partners beyond normal commuting.
