Maintenance Engineer

Excellent opportunity with a Maintenance Engineer to join an FMCG Manufacturer in Nottingham. You will be responsible for reactive and preventative maintenance across the site and providing a continuous improvement-based culture.

Maintenance Engineer

Salary: Up to £55,000

Shift pattern: 4 on 4 off days and nights

Location: Nottingham

Responsibilities

• Efficiently repair various production machinery using both reactive and preventative maintenance techniques, including motors, control panels and various systems
• Confidence with PLC fault finding
• Demonstrate proficiency in both electrical and mechanical principles
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
• Collaborate with the production team to optimise equipment performance and minimise downtime
• Keep detailed records of maintenance activities and provide reports as needed

Requirements

• Previous experience in the FMCG sector
• Relevant qualifications in electrical/Mechanical engineering (BTEC, HNC, etc.)
• Experience in a similar role, such as shift engineer, multi skilled engineer, engineering technician, shift technician, electrical maintenance engineer, mechanical maintenance engineer
• Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to work under pressure
