Weekend Sales Assistant

Your local store is looking for a minimum 8 hrs per week Weekend Sales Assistant to support us over our busy weekends.

Overview

Dunelm’s Sales Assistants are our foundation. They are the first point of call for lending a helping hand and always interact with customers, ensuring they leave with exactly what they want and a lasting positive impression.

Pay

18+ – £12.71 per hour16-17 – £8.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Tills – Serving customers with purchases or returns, checking that all items are complete and fragile items are packed securely.
• Shop floor – Assisting customers to find products and providing an excellent memorable service.
• Hosting – Ordering products from iPad systems and providing Made To Measure services for bespoke curtains and blinds.
• Stock and Delivery – A physical role with heavy lifting: merchandising, updating price changes, recovering the store after a busy day, taking in deliveries, checking stock control, ordering and carrying out shop‑floor replenishment.

Qualifications

• Confidence, an empowered attitude and sociable nature, excited to work in an ever‑growing retail environment.
• Ability to work across the store and report to team leaders and store management regularly.
