We are seeking an experienced, highly organised DV‑cleared Executive Assistant to provide trusted support to a Director within a fast‑paced national security environment. This role is central to enabling effective decision‑making, ensuring smooth information flow, and coordinating activity across a complex organisation.

Responsibilities
- Manage the Director’s diary, inbox and workflow, ensuring priorities are understood and acted on quickly.
- Coordinate programme‑wide commissions and responses, ensuring high‑quality material is delivered on time.
- Support the planning and administration of all Director‑level meetings, including secure meetings, ensuring materials, notes and actions are handled appropriately.
- Maintain oversight of risks, opportunities and programme performance across the directorate.
- Use modern digital and collaboration tools to streamline communication and join up teams across the enterprise.
- Build strong working relationships with senior stakeholders across government and partner organisations.
- Manage administrative processes including expenses, purchase orders and registers.
Must have
- Active DV clearance (mandatory) or current SC clearance with lapsed DV*
Required Experience
- Strong experience supporting senior leaders in high‑pressure environments.
- Excellent diary, inbox and meeting management skills.
- Confident communicator able to give direction and manage competing priorities.
- Highly organised, discreet and comfortable handling sensitive information.
- Digitally proficient, with experience using collaboration and AI‑enabled tools.
- Experience within National Security, Defence or secure government settings.
- Experience coordinating events or senior engagements.
