Your new company A leading civil engineering contractor is seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to join its pre-construction team based in Omagh. The business has established a strong reputation for delivering major infrastructure, utilities, groundworks and civil engineering projects throughout Northern Ireland and the UK and continues to secure a significant pipeline of work.
Your new role As Senior Estimator, you will play a key role in securing future work by preparing accurate and competitive tenders while working closely with operational and commercial teams.
- Preparing detailed estimates and tender submissions for civil engineering projects.
- Reviewing drawings, specifications and contract documentation.
- Sourcing and assessing supplier and subcontractor quotations.
- Identifying project risks and value engineering opportunities.
- Supporting the pre-construction team in winning new business.
What you’ll need to succeed
- Previous estimation experience within civil engineering or infrastructure projects.
- Strong commercial awareness and analytical ability.
- Experience interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and estimating software.
