Practitioner Psychologist: Neurology, Metabolics & Hearing Implant

Paediatric Psychology Service – B7 Practitioner Psychologist

We are recruiting for a full‑time, permanent B7 Practitioner Psychologist within the Paediatric Psychology Service at the Evelina London Children’s Hospital.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychological care to children, young people and families with complex health conditions, including neurological disorders and inherited metabolic diseases.
• Work half the time (0.5 FTE) in multidisciplinary teams caring for patients under the Evelina London with neurological conditions and inherited metabolic diseases, offering inpatient and outpatient support.
• Work the other half (0.5 FTE) within the St. Thomas’ Hearing Implant Service, providing care to children and young people undergoing hearing implant assessment or treatment, predominantly in outpatient settings.
• Deliver cognitive assessments, liaison and consultation with a diverse multidisciplinary team.
• Participate in clinical meetings, audit, research, teaching and training.
