Overview
The post holder will be part of a wider team that collaborates to provide high-quality, brief, and evidence-based support that is sensitive to the unique needs and experiences of children and young people. This role will deliver early intervention and structured therapeutic support to children, young people, and families experiencing mild to moderate emotional or mental health challenges. The work takes place in a supportive, trauma‑informed environment that emphasises short‑term, outcomes‑based interventions and promotes collaboration with educational and community partners.
The partnership is led by TEWV, with operational leadership by Alliance Psychological Services and The Link in North Tees and South Tees respectively. Together with other local organisations such as The Junction, Changing Futures North East and Teesside Mind, the team provides the Tees Valley CYP Getting Advice & Help (GA&H) service.
Responsibilities
- Deliver early intervention and structured therapeutic support to children, young people and families with mild to moderate emotional or mental health challenges.
- Work within a trauma‑informed environment, focusing on short‑term, outcomes‑based interventions.
- Collaborate with local educational and community partners, contributing to consultation and partnership work.
- Support the delivery of the Tees Valley CYP GA&H service in line with partnership objectives.
