About the Role
This role is situated within the Careers & Employability Service, part of Academic Services. The Careers & Employability Service offers professional and impartial services to students, graduates, employers and university staff.
Our vision is to help all students gain experiences that help them reach their potential, develop skills and attributes, and build a credible career plan for a successful future.
Responsibilities
- To coordinate the design and development of employability activities, providing project, events management and administrative support.
- To project manage new and existing collaborative projects in the Careers Team, contributing towards positive graduate outcomes for students and graduates.
- The ideal candidate will have a creative approach to project and event management, and help to shape University practice in the planning, communication and delivery of effective projects alongside comprehensive reporting on project success.
Qualifications
- A creative approach to project and event management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including written and verbal communication
- Ability to organise, prioritise and schedule own workload effectively
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, supervising other staff when required
