Job Title: Trainee or Experienced Recruitment Consultant working in Temporary Division Role Type: Permanent Location: Belfast, James Street South Reports To: Business Manager Hours: 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday Core Responsibilities:  Business Development: Cold call, network, and telephone / email pitch to prospective clients to generate new temporary recruitment business.  Candidate Sourcing: Source suitable candidates from database, write compelling job adverts, and build talent pipelines to maintain an active, “ready-to-work” pool of candidates.  Match & Place: Screen, interview, and test prospective applicants to match them rapidly to urgent temporary vacancies.  Compliance & Onboarding: Manage pre-employment checks, right-to-work verification, reference checks, and payroll data in strict accordance with legal standards.  Account Management: Maintain excellent relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business, handling extensions and queries.  Negotiation & Contracts: Negotiate agency terms of business, charge rates, and contractor pay rates Experience / Skills required: Customer Focussed General IT skills Sales ability – happy to pick up the phone and call potential Clients / Candidate Good attitude and reliable Happy to work on own initiative whilst integrating into a lovely team. Salary – Experience dependant Commission – depends on how hard you work! Commission is paid in accordance with how many jobs you fill.
