Senior Planner (Primavera P6) – Energy / Transmission

London & South East (Hybrid) £650/day (Umbrella – Inside IR35) 12 Months | ASAP Start

Overview

We’re recruiting for an experienced Senior Planner to support a major UK transmission infrastructure project, part of a wider grid upgrade programme across London and the South East.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and manage programmes using Primavera P6

Build construction schedules (resources, outages, consents, wayleaves)

Monitor progress and produce weekly reporting

Support EVM (CPI/SPI), risk, and change management

Work closely with Project Managers, Engineers & Commercial teams

Ensure compliance with NEC contracts

Requirements

Proven experience as a Senior Planner in energy, utilities, or infrastructure

Strong Primavera P6 and MS Project skills

Experience with NEC contracts & Earned Value Management

Full UK driving licence

Desirable:

National Grid / transmission experience

OHL (Overhead Lines) background

Details

Hybrid: 3 days on-site

45 hours/week (08:00-17:00)

Inside IR35 (Umbrella/PAYE only)
