Your role
As a Project Manager or Senior Project Manager you will manage delivery of major multi‑disciplinary design projects, support team growth, and ensure high client satisfaction through quality, commercial and programme deliverables.
- Manage successful delivery of the project to agreed programme, budget and quality targets.
- Identify and agree project objectives and develop a strategy to achieve them.
- Identify and manage potential contractual or commercial risks to the firm.
- Manage the project team – build, motivate, coach and guide.
- Facilitate communication, coordinate and ensure information flow with the client, subcontractors and partners.
- Assemble and own the project delivery programme and delivery plans.
- Protect the firm’s commercial interests, including invoicing, credit control and cash flow.
- Compare revenue with predicted costs, identify risk allowances, margin and provisions, and report Earned Value.
- Close out the project, archive documentation, capture lessons learned and initiate client satisfaction surveys.
- Support business development activities in line with market strategies.
About you
- Degree qualified with demonstrable experience managing design commissions and/or design‑build contracts on large infrastructure projects.
- Chartered Engineer, Scientist or Project Manager.
- Experience in the Water, Nuclear, Aviation or Defence sectors is an advantage.
- Excellent interpersonal, organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to manage and motivate a team and demonstrate leadership potential.
- Experience deploying NEC3 or NEC4 contracts.
- Self‑motivated and able to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team.
- Customer‑focused with strong client relationship management skills.
- Supportive and encouraging approach to mentoring junior team members.
- Adaptable to different cultures and working environments.

This role may require security clearance. Offers of employment will be dependent on obtaining the relevant level of clearance. The vetting process is delivered by UK Security Vetting and may require proof of residency in the UK of 5 years or longer.
