The Role
Youll be involved in:
- Electrical fault-finding and maintenance
- Planned preventative maintenance
- Reactive breakdown support
- Improving plant reliability and reducing downtime
- Supporting maintenance planning across site
- Working safely within permit to work systems
- Maintaining pressure systems in line with requirements
- Supporting maintenance stores, parts and stock control
- Working closely with engineering and operations teams
- Making sure work is completed safely and to a high standard
What Theyre Looking For
This role is for an engineer who is electrically biased first, but happy working in a multi-skilled maintenance environment.
Essential:
- Strong electrical bias
- 17th or 18th Edition
- Experience in maintenance within manufacturing, production, FMCG or industrial environments
- Good electrical fault-finding skills
- Experience with PPMs and breakdown maintenance
- A practical, proactive approach
- Able to work well as part of a team
Desirable:
- BTEC Level 4 in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent
- Experience in FMCG, feed mill or similar production environments
- Boiler experience
- IOSH
- Good Microsoft skills
- Mechanical understanding in a maintenance setting
