The RoleWorking alongside experienced Recruitment Consultants, you’ll learn every aspect of the recruitment process while completing your apprenticeship.Your responsibilities will include: Registering and interviewing new candidatesWriting and advertising job vacanciesSearching for candidates using online job boards and social mediaSpeaking with candidates about new opportunitiesMatching candidates to suitable vacanciesCompleting right-to-work, licence and compliance checksBooking interviews and managing candidate availabilityBuilding relationships with both candidates and clientsSupporting the office with administration and customer serviceLearning how to develop new business opportunities As your confidence and experience grow, you’ll begin managing your own clients and vacancies before progressing into a Recruitment Consultant position. Your ApprenticeshipYou’ll complete a Level 3 Recruiter Apprenticeship over 18 months, combining practical workplace experience with structured learning. Throughout the programme you’ll develop skills in: Recruitment and talent acquisitionCandidate sourcing and interviewingRecruitment legislation and complianceSales and negotiationStakeholder managementRecruitment marketingProfessional communicationUsing recruitment technology and software Training includes a combination of online learning, face-to-face sessions and support from a dedicated tutor, helping you develop into a professional recruiter. What We’re Looking ForThis role would suit someone who has recently left college and already has some experience in the workplace, perhaps in retail, hospitality, customer service or an office environment.You’ll ideally have: Excellent communication skillsA confident and friendly personalityA positive attitude and willingness to learnGood organisation and attention to detailBasic IT skills, including Microsoft OfficeThe ability to work well in a busy team environmentA genuine interest in building a long-term career A full UK driving licence would be an advantage, but we’re also happy to consider applicants who are currently learning to drive.
