This Company is a small care home provider operating with high-quality nursing, residential, and dementia care homes across Midlands and Wales. The company prides itself on being small enough to care but big enough to make a difference, offering a supportive, family-like culture with strong leadership, modern facilities, and genuine opportunities for staff development and progression.Key Responsibilities:* Lead and manage the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring safe, effective, and compliant operations.* Maintain CIW compliance and deliver ongoing improvement and environmental action plans.* Provide clinical oversight to ensure residents receive the highest standards of nursing and personal care.* Oversee and ensure safe administration, storage, and recording of medication, in line with NMC and CIW standards.* Build and develop a strong, stable staff team, reducing agency use and improving retention.* Promote high-quality, person-centred care for all residents.* Support and guide digital implementation (electronic care planning and medicine management).* Drive a positive and professional culture within the home.RequirementsEssential:* Nurse-qualified with an active NMC Pin. (Open to lapsed)* Registered Home Manager or Deputy with proven success in achieving and maintaining CIW compliance.* Demonstrated ability to manage teams, deliver improvements, and sustain compliance.* Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.* Longevity and stability in previous management roles.Desirable:* NVQ Level 5 in Leadership & Management (or equivalent).* Experience with digital care systems (care plans and eMAR).* Strong track record of improving and maintaining “Good” ratings.Benefits:* Salary: £60,000 DOE* Great opportunity who is potentially looking to step up* Hours: Full-time (minimum 40 hours, flexible).* Supportive leadership — approachable seniors and hands-on owner.* Opportunity to make a real impact in a supportive, non–top-heavy organisation.* Tailored training and development opportunities.
