Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site International Sales Manager role based in Hebden Bridge. The International Sales Manager will oversee and grow sales across key global territories, managing relationships with broadcasters, system integrators, and distribution partners. Day‑to‑day responsibilities include identifying new business opportunities, developing and executing regional sales strategies, and delivering product presentations and demonstrations to prospective clients. The role involves negotiating contracts, preparing sales forecasts, and collaborating closely with marketing, product management, and technical teams to support customer requirements and market feedback. The International Sales Manager will regularly travel to customer sites, trade shows, and industry events, representing Calrec and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and long‑term partnerships.
Qualifications
- Strong international sales and account management skills, including experience building and maintaining long‑term customer and partner relationships.
- Proven ability in business development, territory planning, and executing sales strategies in a technical or broadcast-related environment.
- Solid understanding of professional audio, broadcasting workflows, or related media technology, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts simply.
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills, with confidence in leading product demos and commercial discussions.
- Comfortable working with CRM tools, sales reporting, and basic financial analysis to track performance and forecast revenue.
- Ability and willingness to travel internationally on a regular basis and work effectively with diverse cultures and time zones.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience in the broadcast, pro‑audio, or media technology sector is highly beneficial; additional language skills are an advantage.
