Solicitor – Personal Injury (3-5 years PQE)

We are looking for a Solicitor (3-5 years PQE) to join our highly regarded Personal Injury team. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside experienced lawyers in a supportive and collaborative environment, handling a varied caseload of claimant Personal Injury matters. The role involves managing a caseload under supervision, assisting senior fee earners with high-value cases, and engaging in business development activities.

Experience/Attributes required

  • Proven track record in handling Multi-Track Personal Injury cases
  • Strong technical expertise
  • Ability to manage a caseload with appropriate supervision
  • Experience of working with Major Trauma Centres
  • Good knowledge of the Rehabilitation Code of Practice and Serious Injury Guide, with the ability to apply these in practice
  • Experience of working with Case Managers
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to delivering a high standard of client care
  • Experience of undertaking business development activities
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Work type

  • Managing a varied caseload of claimant Personal Injury matters, ensuring files are progressed efficiently and in line with firm procedures
  • Running Multi-Track Personal Injury cases under supervision, including drafting pleadings, reviewing evidence and preparing cases for trial
  • Assisting Partners and senior fee earners with high-value and complex Multi-Track Personal Injury claims
  • Liaising with clients, experts, counsel and other stakeholders to support the progression of cases
  • Supporting and supervising junior team members, providing guidance on day-to-day casework where appropriate
  • Maintaining high standards of client care and ensuring clients are kept informed throughout the lifecycle of their claim

Contributing to team knowledge sharing and continuous improvement of processes
