Our client, a specialist ASD school in Southport, is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Year7 Nurture Class Teacher to join their team. This unique role offers the opportunity to teach a small class of 5‑7 pupils within a primary‑style nurture setting, supporting pupils as they transition into secondary education. Pupils remain with the same teacher throughout the day, providing consistency, routine and strong relationships. The class is supported by two Teaching Assistants, and the successful candidate will deliver a broad Year7 curriculum tailored to individual needs.

Qualifications
- Holds QTS.
- Has primary teaching experience or experience within a Year7 nurture/transition provision.
- Can deliver a broad Year7 curriculum.
- Has experience adapting teaching to meet a range of learning abilities and individual needs.
- Can create a calm, structured and nurturing learning environment.
- Has a good understanding of ASD and inclusive teaching practices, or is keen to develop this knowledge.
