Bank Support Worker – Affinity Supporting People South Limited, Morecambe. Affinity is part of National Care Group. We provide supported living services for individuals with learning disabilities, autism, complex needs, mental health and challenging behaviours.
Role Details
Salary: £12.71 per hourWorking Hours: Bank Service
Responsibilities
- Build positive relationships with young adults by listening, discussing and planning goals and ambitions together.
- Plan daily tasks and assist with practical activities such as cooking, cleaning and running errands.
- Assist with personal care, including support with eating and administering medication.
- Plan and participate in days out and other activities the individual wishes to enjoy.
- Support individuals to become more independent wherever possible.
Qualifications & Skills
- Caring attitude with a passion for supporting others and the motivation to help them achieve goals.
- Team player able to work effectively with colleagues.
- Resilience to keep going during difficult times and confidence to ask for support when needed.
- Excellent listening and communication skills.
